Overview

Gorgeous little South Sea Island is one of the treasures of the Mamanuca Islands. Crystal clear waters, coral reefs and thousands of colourful tropical fish surround the tiny island. The Half Day cruise to South Sea Island is perfect for those who don't have a lot of time to spare but still want a taste of the 'real Fiji'. This fantastic cruise means you'll get to explore one of Fiji's cutest Mamanuca Islands and get into 'island time'. As the island is only 30 minutes from Denarau, you'll have time to do many of the activities on the island and meet the friendly Fijian's ashore.

Itinerary

  • Mamanuca Islands

    Half a day to South Sea Island is an easy 30-minute ferry ride. Perfect for those who don't have a lot of time to spare, but still want a taste of the 'real Fiji'. This fantastic cruise means you'll get to explore one of Fiji's cutest Mamanuca Islands and get into 'island time' The island will be yours for the rest of the day until the catamaran arrives around 5.30 pm to bring you back to Port Denarau. Transfers back to select hotels/resorts in Nadi, Denarau, and Wailoaloa area are included if prebooked.

  • Port Denarau Marina

    A complimentary coach transfer is provided for this tour from select hotels/resrts Nadi, Denarau, and the Wailoaloa area. Air-conditioned coaches will pick you from designated pick up points approximately 75 minutes before the departure time. You will then need to check in at the South Sea Cruises check-in counter. Please keep your voucher numbers or e-confirmation available when you are at the counter. Our lovely South Sea Cruises staff with a big Bula smile will then provide your boarding pass for the catamaran. Our modern catamarans have air-conditioned lounges, outside viewing decks and fully licensed bars, meaning you’ll feel on holiday, even en route to your island escape.

This activity is well planned out, informative and enjoyable. There was a meal for us and complementary drinks included in the package! Plenty of activities, too! Would highly recommend to anyone.

The inclusives were all great, food and drink, snorkelling! This is a great place if you want to experience a small part of Fijian culture, the staff showcased a beautiful meke. The snorkelling was one of the best parts, as there is such a wide variety of fish, but to watch young children as the waves are best for experienced swimmers when windy! The bar was open the whole time, the staff were very friendly. This was our last cruise of the week, it was a half day and we were tired, but it was still worth it. I would recommend this to families and friends travelling, as they cater to all; with all the activities and food and drink, you wouldn’t get bored!

First timers with 2 kids (11 & 6) south sea island is the first island drop off and the last pick up so half day is more than plenty to get in all the activities We arrived and headed straight up to the BBQ lunch and Meke dance Complimentary drink bar available all arvo which we loved Snorkelling gear was all included We loved the underwater glass boat adventure for the 6 year old All in all 10/10 - Jim? The island host and staff were more than accommodating and made our first time visit memorable We would definitely come back

Amazing experience for snorkeling lovers. It is a tiny island with a gorgeous beach and tropical waters. Food and drinks are offered on site. You will need to bring walking shoes or some other footwear, because the coast has many tiny rocks that can pierce through your feet or make entering/exiting very inconvenient.
