Overview

We'll meet around the Cathedral to start our walking tour. With us you will be able to discover part of the history of our city and its unique places inside the former Jewish quarter. The small size group (max. 10 guests) will allow you to ask your questions, that we'll be happy to answer. The white houses, narrow streets, traditional patios and flowered balconies make to the visitors of this location feel the real Andalusian atmosphere.By the name of some of these streets and lanes we will see how time has not affected this special site. After about our walking tour we will head to one of the best local food restaurants inside this quarter, where we will have the chance of sharing tapas and Spanish wines and get to know each other a little bit more. Please note that the walking tour will be around 1.5 hours while the whole experience time will be about 3 hours. *Please note that a minimum of 2 guests are needed for the experience to take place.

    Welcoming and historical introduction to the city and the Jewish Quarter. Our guest will also learn about the origin of the Alcazar on our way to the Jewish quarter

    One of the most intriguing medieval stories of the former Jewish Quarter, the legend of Susona and the Street of death.

    The importance of the fortified area around the Jewish quarter and the Alcazar.

Clara was an excellent guide with a delightful persona. Full of interesting and intriguing information. As we walked thru the streets of the now almost oblitersted Jewish section -- Clara filled us in to what was and where. We ended up with a pleasant meal and walk through the lively Santa Cruz section.

Very interesting and engaging tour with a good look into Spanish culture through the lens of history. Clara, our guide did a fabulous job. The time flew by as we strolled, observed and learned about history in this quarter and in Spain in general. Thank you! I highly recommend this tour.

We 'thought' we had seen the Jewish quarter the day before, as part of a tour of the Real Alcazar, but we were wrong! Tour guide was Marta. The tour started at the entry to the Alcazar and then headed to an area that, while adjacent to the Alcazar, has its access really quite hidden unless you know where to look. Marta was quite knowledgeable about the area and its history. The Jewish quarter overall is a quiet hidden area of narrow winding streets and small plazas in a unique location within Sevilla. It is very much worth seeing assuming one has an interest. Tour of the quarter ended with a short walk to a bar for tapas and drinks. We did not stop at a wine cellar (which was ok as that was not what the tour was really about). Tour concluded on a beautiful and active side street near the main Cathedral.
