Overview

We embark on our first hike of the day, a moderate 4.2km return hike that weaves us through fascinating rock formations, including the Grand Canyon and Silent Street before we arrive at The Pinnacle, the most iconic destination in the park. This famous jagged cliff face is quite the sight and there will be plenty of time to capture some amazing photos. Once we return, we will stop for a delicious cafe or bakery lunch before the drive up to MacKenzie Falls. This small walk is a steep 2km trail but you will be rewarded with one of Victoria’s largest and most beautiful waterfalls. Feel free to dip your toes in the icy mountain water to refresh your feet. Our next stop is the picturesque Boroka Lookout where you will be able to experience stunning views of Halls Gap, Lake Bellfield and Mt. William mountain ranges. We return to the delightful local village of Halls Gap where we will reveal one of the local kangaroo’s favourite hangout spots before making the journey back to Melbourne.

A must day out of the city

Trip was amazing. After a not to long drive the mountains offer so many views and climb is pretty easy if you’re used to it. The falls also beautiful and again offer so many pictures. Marcus was great and kept the energy up.

Great Ocean Road

We were originally scheduled for the hiking tour in the Grampians, but due to the brush fires there, it was rescheduled for the Great Ocean Tour. Marcus was our guide and he was awesome. He was great at communicating, and informative on a lot of the wildlife. He was also able to make any adjustments to our schedule as needed. This was definitely peak season with lots of visitors, but he planned and adjusted accordingly. We did great on timing due to everyone in our group being quick at all stops and we tended to stay ahead of the other tour buses. It is a long day, but plenty of stops and lots to see. The highlight was seeing a mob of kangaroos and a koala in the wild.

Matt was a great and friendly tour guide! He was very patient with any medical conditions and adjusted his pace accordingly throughout the hike. He was also very knowledgeable about the Grampians tour and made everyone felt comfortable. Thanks Matt!
