Set on more than 450 acres of vineyard clad hills, the visit to the De Bortoli Vineyard is a terrific start to the day. The wine tasting includes their estate and premium wines together with their iconic dessert wine, Noble One. The tasting is enhanced with a pairing of selected cheeses.

We had a great day exploring wineries with our guide Paul. The vehicle was very comfortable and Paul did an excellent job! We had an amazing lunch, in a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend this tour.

One of the best!

We have done wine tours all over the world and we felt this was one of the best. Good mix of different types of wineries, great wine at all of them, and our guide Shane was very knowledgeable. 5 wineries in one day is ambitious but it did not feel rushed. And as a bonus we saw some kangaroos in the wild on our way back.

Wine, wine and more wine but in a good way

We had an amazing day visiting wineries in the beautiful Yarra Valley. After several long days of very active excursions, it was just what the doctor ordered. It was relaxing and low key and Adrian, our guide, was wonderful. He is very knowledgeable about the history of winemaking in the region and about the process of making all the different varieties. Not being a wine connoisseur (gross understatement) I learned a tremendous amount about the winemaking business and have a greater appreciation for the intricacies of the process and how much work goes into it. The people who conducted our tastings were very warm and welcoming and were understandably proud of their award winning creations. Lunch at winery #4 (Yering Station) was amazing (don’t be afraid to try kangaroo!) with the excellent fare made better by the stunning views of the valley. This was a great day but, if I had one suggestion, it would be to only do 4 wineries rather than 5. Sometimes less is more.

Well organised and structured trip. All vineyards visited were very good and different. Lunch at Yering Station was exceptional. Good commentary from Rob on the journey. A bit more expensive than some but really good value for money. Recommended.

Highly recommend this tour! Perfect for anyone who wants to learn about the Yarra Valley region and its wine. Paul, our guide, was fantastic! He took us to some really good vineyards and informed us of the nuances of each vineyard. The sommeliers at all of the places were also very informative and hospitable. An engaging and fun day trip if you enjoy wine!
