Overview

On this Private Foodie experience, youā€™ll set off on a jaunt around Chinatown where youā€™ll find some of the best street food in Singapore. Aside from the Chinatown Food Complex, where you can taste Michelin starred street food, youā€™ll find such delights as poh piah (fresh spring roll) and chwee kueh (water rice cake). Maybe itā€™ll be the food which lulls you into a coma, or maybe itā€™s the swaying lanterns and billowing smoke screens, who can say. From here, youā€™ll walk to a traditional wet market where you can see live seafood and try to decipher all types of ingredients. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your interests and needs. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible so you can always change your mind about what you want to do.
