Parque de Maria Luisa
The María Luisa Park has its origins in 1849, when Antonio de Orleans, Duke of Montpensier and his wife, Infanta María Luisa Fernanda de Borbón, acquired the San Telmo palace and its gardens, converting them into a residence. They commissioned Lecolant, a French gardener, to design a colossal garden in the style of the building. This one was designed according to the growing English and French fashion.
