    DAY 1: HANOI - HALONG PORT - OVERNIGHT CRUISE (L/D) 08:30 – 09:00 | Pick-up time For those who book transfer service, our bus will collect guests from hotels around Hanoi Old Quarter or at Hanoi Opera House if your hotels/places outside. It takes nearly 2,5 hours for going by new expressway to Halong International Porrt 11:30: Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port – Where we will complete the check-in process and other procedures. Transfer to Scarlet Pearl Cruise. Welcome aboard! Enjoy a welcome drink during the cruise briefing, including safety instructions, before check-in to your cabin. A splendid lunch is served at Tahiti Restaurant while cruising into the primitive Lan Ha Bay.

    15:00 Cruising to Ao Ech- Frog Pond area on Cat Ba Island to Swimming, Kayaking, Jumping from boat. 17:00 Back to big boat for relaxing, seeing sunset. 19:00 It is time to enjoy your a la carte dinner. 21:30 Enjoy evening views of the bay at the bar. Try your hand squid fishing, or chat with your friends and family on the top deck. The bars are open until late. Overnight on the Cruise as the room you booked

    DAY 2: LAN HA BAY - DART & BRIGHT CAVE-HALONG-HANOI (B/L) 06:30: Begin your new day with a Yoga session, take photos, or enjoy the sunrise from your cabin window. Enjoy a light breakfast in the delighted and peaceful beauty of the bay, followed by coffee, tea, and pastries. 7:30 Visit Dark & Bright Cave which is the perfect destination for our excursion, a serene round lake encompassed by abundant trees and high stone walls. Take your pick either exploring the cave by yourself in a kayak or comfortably on local bamboo boat rowed by the locals.

Brilliant staff and spectacular views. A must see

If you are looking for a relatively intimate cruise with beautiful rooms and a top notch staff jump aboard the Scarlet Pearl. There are many options to cruise the bay, we were looking for a smaller cruise group with luxurious rooms and good food and we found it. Wendy and her staff were warm, friendly, professional and detail oriented. The cruise was run so efficiently yet allowed us to feel relaxed as the bay drew us into a zen state. There were many activities to keep you as involved as you cared to be or a relaxed and meditative as you wanted. We chose both, kayaking through the caves was as easy or active as you cared to make it and gave freedom to explore on our own. We were offered the most amazing foot massage in the spa, excellent services!! Wait til dark so you don’t miss the views. The cooking class was more of a learn how to roll a spring roll but they made it fun and delicious. Squid fishing was tranquil ( I don’t fish but I was drawn to the peaceful state given the surroundings. Then off to karaoke, the best part was watching the adorable, funny and energetic staff dancing along with a contagious enthusiasm. It’s obvious that the bay and its spectacular beauty are a given but without a pristine yacht and brilliant staff you could be on any boat. Kudos Wendy and crew you are fantastic!

Wow - we had an upgrade to cabin 211 and it was stunning! The bow of the ship was our private terrace and included a jacuzzi and a covered seating area. Service was great beginning to end - big shout out to Wendy. Food all of a high standard and plenty of it! Loved the kayak trip - really magical exploring the area and even going through the caves.

I would like to thank Chris ( Cruise Manager) and Wendy ( Assistant Cruise Manager) and the wonderful staff for their impeccable service and 5 star treatment on The Scarlet Pearl. Every staff member was friendly, accommodating and strived to achieve exceptional service. Such a memorable experience and would return again. Excellent cruise - highlight of our trip

This cruise was a highlight of our trip. The room was beautiful, spacious, modern, and clean. View from the room was amazing. Very well organised. Unfortunately there was one family on our trip who were consistently late for group activities and rude to staff however we felt like the lead stewardess dealt with this exceptionally well and politely, minimising the disruption this family caused other passengers as much as possible. We enjoyed the kayaking, swimming, and morning catamaran activities included as part of this tour. A number of people on our boat had birthdays/anniversaries during the trip and the crew went the extra mile arranging birthday cakes and balloons for these passengers. The food was excellent. I am vegetarian and this was well catered for. The boat was gorgeous and the nicest of all those we spotted in the bay. It was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely do this again.

Excellent trip to Halong Bay

I booked the two days one night and I am so grateful that I did that, I enjoyed every second of it. The stuff was super nice and always tried their best to help you out. For sure Halong Bay is super touristic, but I think that this fact is clear when you plan to go there. In my personal opinion staying at Halong bay overnight is the only thing that worth it. The trip was also well organized and there are a lot of activities, where you can participate, as a cooking class, kayaking… The activities were all included in the price. Before my trip Miss My Uyen helped me planning my stay and answered every question I had. So all in all was it a great experience and I highly recommend it.
