Sandy Toes is home to a sanctuary of protected wildlife including our Royal Peacocks, curly tail lizards, ocean reef life and our beloved “farm–saved” beach-going, swimming pigs! These big guys and some little guys are vet checked and cared for on the regular, and only given the cleanest diet served with plenty of love, sunshine, and sunscreen (yes, sunscreen!) With tons of space to run around, the ocean next door to take a dip in, and a protected and shaded pad to call their own, they’re living the dream on Rose Island! Come see for yourself at Sandy Toes….it’s the perfect way to spend your day! Come meet and play with our swimming pigs! Included on the Full Day Excursion! THIS IS ON PARADISE ISLAND. Sandy Toes enforces a strict check-in policy. Check-in closes 30 min prior to 10:00am. Any guest who has not checked in by 9:30am on the day of their excursion forfeits their seat and is subject to the tour's 100% cancellation fee, and will be deemed a "no-show" guest.

Sandy Toes

This 6-hour all inclusive excursion offers a scenic 30-minute boat ride to and from beautiful Rose Island. Once at Sandy Toes, an array of activities are available to our guests including our guided snorkeling tour, private beach, hammock garden, and our very own Rose Island Swimming Pigs! We also include a delicious Bahamian buffet lunch, served on our southern pavilion overlooking picturesque Lower Harbour, and feature our very own Sandy Toes Gift Shop with one-of-a-kind souvenirs. River tube floats and kayaks are available for rent, and also fresh water showers and air-conditioned bathrooms are also available on the island for the comfort of our guests! Our Beach Bar is a great social atmosphere where you can mingle with our friendly staff or meet fellow travelers!

Sandy Toes enforces a strict check-in policy. Check-in is at 9:15am at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, between the 2 bridges on Paradise Island. DRIVE OVER THE PARADISE ISLAND BRIDGE. Check-in closes at 9:45am. Any guest who has not checked in at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal by 9:50am on the day of their excursion forfeits their seat and is subject to the tour's 100% cancellation fee, and will be deemed a "no-show" guest.

All cancellations must be received in writing at least 24 hours in advance.
Photo ID must be shown to match the method of payment used to create the booking, which is to be provided at check in. This may also be documented (photographed).

My mom won’t stop talking about it

Everything was great. We were suspicious as the price was pretty high compared to other companies that did the same thing. But to my surprise they are very far from competition with this company. Everyone was very professional. Safety was priority. Prompting us/communicating with us throughout the day was also their priority. I never felt like I was lost or didn’t know what was coming up next. You would think swimming with pigs wouldn’t come with adventure because “they’re just pigs”. But PLEASE I’m begging you to please book with this company. They never access for a review, so this is solely coming from my experience today. It was an no brainer to leave one.

We booked this tour last minute because another company cancelled the same tour last minute and we are SO HAPPY they did. Sandy Toes has their own stretch of private acreage which we were able to enjoy…pigs, peacocks, chickens, beach, hammocks, food, bar, friendly staff. EVERYTHING private and EVERYTHING fabulous. Such a great experience. Normally they have more people on the tour but we had a small group of 27 which made it even better. This was the best part of our vacation!

We had a great day at Sandy Toes. The boat leaves from Margaritaville and is a nice 20 minute boat ride to Rose Island. It is a private island with little development outside of the Sandy Toes area. The island is absolutely beautiful. We snorkeled for a bit where we saw a large sea turtle and plenty of Fish. We went back to the beach where we had wonderful drinks at the bar. They bring the pigs out every half hour or so where you can swim and interact with the pigs. These are well trained and well treated pigs who were so much fun. We’ve been on excursions many many times and this was one of our favorites. The staff was welcoming. There were no up charges and no trying to sell you pics. There is a staff member who will take all the pics you want. Great day.

This place was like a dream. Not only is the scenery beautiful but the staff there was so great. The pigs were such a fun experience. They take great care of them and they are trained to sit, shake, stay, and even stand on command. Don’t miss this tour!!
