Fabulous food tour in San Sebastián

This food tour was one of the highlights of our time in Spain, and I highly recommend it. Our guide, Sandra took us to a variety of pintxos bars and introduced us to local specialties, food and wine, that we never would have known to order for ourselves. Afterwards she sent us an email detailing the places she took us, what she ordered (both in Spanish and English), and recommended many other places and specific food and drink…really a detailed guide to do more on own the next day. This was a treasure in and of itself! This tour was worth every penny, a great introduction to San Sebastián. I would do it again in a heart beat!

Lovely tour with pintxos and wine

Our tour guide led to us to a number of selected Pintxo bars and showed us the old town of Donostia along the way. The selected food and wines were really great. I enjoyed an afternoon at places and experiences that I would have missed out on otherwise. Our guide Sandra did a wonderful job in picking places and keeping everything organised like it was nothing!

Best Day and Best Pintxos with Kai

This was the highlight of our trip by far. We had the best guide! I highly recommend Kai. He was so knowledgeable of the area, the food and wine. Very personable. He even helped an elderly man in our group locate his backpack he left at one of the bars which was very kind. He really picked the most amazing pintxos for us to try keeping in mind everyone’s dietary restrictions and food adventure levels. We met incredible people in our tour and it was such a fun day. We left full, drunk and with new friends. We will recommend this tour to all our friends.

Great tour. Amazing food and drink. Our guide (Kai) really helped to make the pintxos experience less intimidating. Followed up his recommendations in the following nights and have had one of the best steaks of my life.
