Itinerary

  • Generalife

    First we will visit The Generalife, we will wander around the palace and gardens and we will learn about the irrigation system of the Alhambra .

  • Palace of Carlos V

    After the Gerenalife we will cross the Medina , real city of the Alhambra learning about the life of the common people in medieval ages and day to day life, in this point we will visit as well the free admission sites : Parador, Charles the V Palace and Santa Maria de la Alhambra.

    30 minutes

  • Alcazaba

    In third place we will go to the Alcazaba, military section, learning about fortifications and the life of the soldiers.

  • Nasrid Palaces

    We will finish with the best part, the royal palace for the sultans of the Alhambra , discoreving how was the life ot he last muslim rulers of Spain.

We had a wonderful tour with Asier. He was extremely knowledgeable and we especially liked how he tied together the different parts of the Alhambra. He knew so much about the history of the place, pointed out many interesting details, and even my 8 year old was very engaged and says it was a highlight of her trip. Our daughter was obsessed with looking for the cats of the Alhambra and he was very accommodating and even told us a lot about the cats there, which my daughter loved. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour for all ages

Great tour with our guide Laura. Alhambra is large, and having a guide is a must, especially if only have limited time. We learned lots of history whilst Laura made it interesting and memorable for our diverse group consisting of adults, a teenager and a small kid, by including age appropriate fun challenges for both kids - they still talk about it. Highly recommended.
