Leaving Southampton we will drive towards Salisbury taking the scenic route through the 'New Forest' & may see some wild horses on the way.
Salisbury Cathedral and Magna Carta
See the hilltop fortress 'Old Sarum' that many different cultures once settled.
Visit the charming & historic English village of 'New Sarum' that flourished around the confluence of rivers & the 'Pillars of the Earth' surrounding the cathedral.
The cathedral close is a lovely place to view the famous spires & Gothic architecture as well as the nearby gardens & museum.
Inside the cathedral itself are many treasures including the best surviving version of the Magna Carta & memorials to knights & saints.
