This private tour gives you an incredible day in the Lake District National Park, from Manchester. It’s an ideal way to see amazing landscape associated with this stunning National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit beauty spots such as Tarn Hows, enjoy lunch in a quaint medieval town and visit Coniston famed for Donald Campbell's Bluebird. This private tour is the perfect way to experience and explore everything the Lake District has to offer. Travel from Manchester with your own personal driver guide in comfort and style. Mountain Goat's drivers are all incredibly knowledgeable about our beautiful national park and will be on hand to answer any questions and help you get the most out of your trip. As it is a private trip customers can also request additions and changes to the itinerary and we'll do our best to include them.

    Enjoy a gentle cruise along one of the most beautiful lakes in the national park.

  • Hawkshead Grammar School Museum

    Visit William Wordsworth's old grammar school as you explore the medieval village of Hawkshead and enjoy lunch.

  • Tarn Hows

    Enjoy stunning views of the Lakeland fells and the man made tarn, Tarn Hows. Snap some photographs and enjoy the tranquility of the Lakes.

    15 minutes

  • Coniston (Pass By)

    Visit Coniston, famous for where Arthur Ransome based his childrens’ book ‘Swallows and Amazons’ on locations around Coniston Water.
