    Discover Sachsenhausen Camp The first and main concentration camp in Berlin The Sachsenhausen camp was one of the first concentration camps established by the Nazis near the city of Berlin, and it is currently used as a memorial site in memory of more than 200,000 prisoners who were imprisoned and killed there, including Jews, communists, homosexuals, gypsies, Jehovah's Witnesses and opponents of the Reich regime. This is an opportunity to take a look at the dark daily routine that was in the camp, to go through the many stories of heroism alongside the horrors where many lives were cut short. In the camp there are many sites such as the Jewish barracks, the prison, station Z which was the last station in the camp and the clinics where experiments were carried out on prisoners. On the tour we will also learn about Germany during the Nazi era.

The visit to the site is so significant and required a knowledgeable and empathetic guide, and our guide exceeded all expectations. His deep understanding of the history of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, along with an engaging storytelling style, made the tour not only informative but also emotionally impactful. Moreover, Amir encouraged questions and discussions, and fostered an open and inclusive environment for all participants. This interactive element enhanced the tour, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of the complex history surrounding Sachsenhausen. We arrived in Berlin for the Food Logistics exhibition And we decided to take an enrichment tour to the concentration camp with the guide Amir in Berlin. A powerful experience! Amir in Berlin conveys the knowledge in a fascinating way. His knowledge is vast and probably because of his being a theater actor we felt for a moment the creepy stories come to life. Thank you very much Amir for an exciting and unique experience.

Amir picked us up from the hotel and already on the way to the camp reviewed the story of the rise of the Nazis to power. On the tour of the camp, Amir told us fascinating and moving stories and it was obvious that he knew the material and lived it.
