This tour is a breath taking and an amazing experience. Your guide will meet you with a warm welcome and a smile. After leaving your destination weather the cruise port or the hotel, You are now on your journey to Nine Miles. note now the journey you will be taking is not "9 miles in traveling" but the place itself name nine miles. So you will be traveling from Ouch Rios or Runaway Bay or wherever you will be pickup from. The journey big in as you go through the hills up to Claremont or Brown's Town you will be passing through many little town. but it is the birth place of our late great reggae superstar you are going to Bob Marley and it's also his final resting place . The trip takes you through various villages where you can learn quite a lot about rural Jamaica- the real Jamaica. The guide takes you through the black gates, up a steep but beautifully paved walkway and up to Bob's childhood home and his final resting place.

Ocho Rios Cruise Port (Pass By)

Your driver will welcome you with a warm welcome and a smile to kick off your tour. Whether you are being picked up from your hotel or cruise ship port. For 1 hour and 45 minutes, the journey through the old river bed fern gully will begin. This rain forest boasts over 500 species of ferns. Passing through the charming village of Colgate and onward to Golden Grove towards Claremont's clock tower, we'll make a left turn. During the ascent through the refreshing hills and mountains, you will be able to see the countryside farming yellow yam, sweet potatoes, cabbage, and more. Approaching the various corners, we will navigate around them with ease. Keep an eye out for some domesticated animals as we wind through the hills and curves, ultimately arriving at Bob's place in Nine Miles, where you can observe the villages and capture some photos.
Nine Miles

The highlight of this exciting tour awaits as you enter the bar for a drink of your choice, you will be staying there for 3 and a half hours to listen to Bob Marley's tunes, and peruse through numerous albums of Bob. Then, your Rastafarian tour guide will greet you and lead you up to Zion, where Bob is laid to rest. After the tour, you will depart with a wealth of knowledge about Bob Marley and his final resting place, an experience worth sharing with loved ones back home. As your tour concludes, 1 hour and 45 minutes drive back, your driver will ensure your safe return to your hotel or cruise ship port.

Awesome experience from booking to completion!

From booking to the actual trip, this was everything we could have hoped for. This was my wife’s birthday present and Winston and his team made it a memory that she has said she’ll hold on to forever. We even had to delay a couple of days thanks to a tropical storm turned hurricane and Winston made that adjustment so very easily and gracefully. Once off the ship in Ocho Rios, Winston helped us locate our driver, Leroy, who was so very kind and friendly. The drive to 9 Mile was a beautiful trip through the Jamaican mountains and was full of scenery and signs of everyday Jamaica unfolding with every turn. We enjoyed seeing real life play out as we drive by. At 9 Mile, the visit was beyond words. The staff was so welcoming and warm, and our guide, Barkie, was the best. He embodied the very spirit and passion of all Bob Marley stood for and represented. Barkie narrated every step and was so gracious with his time with each visitor. Witnessing the birth and final resting place of Bob Marley in such a beautiful place and seeing my wife’s heart become full was such a gift. A memory we both will enjoy for certain. The trip back to port was smooth and Leroy was so gracious to show us more of Ocho Rios on the way. Just a perfect excursion! Thanks to Winston, Leroy, Barkie and the whole team for making my wife’s birthday the best and for creating one of our all-time favorite memories!!! Book this excursion. Amazing personalised experience

Winston was an amazing tour guide! We initially booked a different excursion. When explaining further landmarks in Ocho, Winston personalised our trip due to our preference. On the trip a family member felt unwell & Winston went above and beyond to make sure they had everything needed for them to be as comfortable as possible. We would recommend Winston and will book with him again when we return in the future.

This was the best experience I had so much fun at the Bob Marley resting place I learned some amazing things about the artist got to sing and dance with his music. Our driver Henry was amazing! I highly recommend going with a larger group for a better experience once you actually get on location. Our first tour guide was disrespectful and didn't want to give a quality tour because there were only two of us. We ditched him and tagged along with a group of 10+ people who had a great tour guide. We left happy!

Did my tour on April 18th of 2024. I booked it last minute and Winston was very agile to accommodate us. Very good communication and instructions. Our guide was Maxine. She drove very safely on the winding roads leading to 9 mile. Shes was very kind, knowledgeable and funny. We had a very good time and it felt safe all the time. 0 issues. I will definitively do it again with them. The house was great and full of history and good energy.
