Overview

Once the pick-up point has been selected, we will begin the trip to Ávila, where we will visit the most important monuments of the city, such as the cathedral, the small market square, the church of Santa Teresa de Jesús and the monument to the 4 Poles. Next we will move to Segovia on a 50-minute trip where we will stop for lunch and where you can also see the most important monuments of the city such as the Roman Aqueduct, Alcázar and Cathedral.

    We will start the tour in Madrid from the point you decide. Our first stop will be Ávila. On this journey you will be able to see the Cross of the Fallen and the Guadarrama mountain range

What a beautiful way to see Avila and Segovia! Our guide Joán was so kind and knowledgeable. He arrived on time to pick us up and made great suggestions for places to find lunch. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic tour of Avila and Segovia

We did a private tour of Avila and Segovia with Joan as our guide. Everything was fantastic! He picked us up precisely at 9am at our hotel. The tour vehicle was clean, spacious and he offered us complimentary bottled water. Joan was a wealth of knowledge when it came to the history of Madrid, Avila, and Segovia. He did great to fill in any quiet moments along the way with interactive conversation about Spanish food and history. Joan’s English was clear, upbeat, and he spoke at a very nice pace. Once we got to each location, he didn’t just drop us off, instead he walked beside us and pointed out the important areas to see and things to know. It was very informative. From start to finish, the entire experience was worth every penny! Ask for Joan!

A Well Organized and Beautiful Day!

Took this tour as a family of four with 2 young kids (under 10 y.o). It was pretty easy. Joan, our guide, picked us up on time at the hotel. He was a charismatic, bright and chill guy who kept the entire tour interesting. He was very knowledgeable and obviously very proud of his country. We hit all the hot spots on this well planned tour and Joan was also open to suggestion to other spots for photos etc. The sights were amazing and steeped in history. Definitely recommend this private tour as the convenience of getting in the SUV hitting the respective destinations, moving on and returning on demand was very efficient.
