    Itálica Amphitheatre is one of the most well-preserved and significant Roman amphitheaters in Spain. It was built in the 1st century AD and could hold up to 25,000 spectators. It featured various levels, an arena, and a system of underground tunnels and rooms for gladiators, animals, and stage equipment. Perhaps the most famous use of the Itálica Amphitheatre in modern times was as a filming location for the popular TV series "Game of Thrones." It served as the Dragonpit, a crucial location in the series' seventh season. The amphitheater's well-preserved structure and grand architecture provided an atmospheric and visually striking backdrop for the pivotal scenes in "Game of Thrones." The Emperor Spoke - and did it well!

This was a wonderful tour! We were picked up within a few minutes’ walk of our cruise ship and driven to Italica, where Jorge, ie Caesar, was waiting for us. The tour was entertaining, humorous, and informative. We were treated to a delightful Spanish lunch following the tour. I highly recommend!

Jumping on the 'Unveil the Ancient World' tour was like stepping into a time machine of awesomeness! The pick-up was spot-on, and Emperor Hadrian, played by an absolute legend, had us in splits with his quirky history lessons. The costumes and Roman ruins were like being in a blockbuster movie, only better. Our guide, Jorge, was a rockstar – super cool and knew how to make history not feel like a snoozefest. After all the time-traveling, we stuffed our faces with a killer Spanish meal that was the cherry on top. Everything ran like clockwork, and I can't recommend this tour enough. Whether you're a history buff or just up for a good time, this is the trip for you. Italica won't know what hit it!
