Pickup Details

Pick-up and drop-off service is only available at a hotel or metro station in downtown Taipei City. Please wait in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. If the hotel lobby is located on the upper level, your tour guide will be waiting for you on the ground level with the tour operator's logo flag (EDISON TOURS).

What To Expect

1. You will be offered to taste 3 breakfast items. It may be a Taiwanese pancake with egg, a pan-fried radish cake, oyster vermicelli or salty congee. Just stay hungry and don’t be afraid to try new foods! *The exact restaurant and food options will be arranged according to the accessibility and availability. If you have any food preference or special requirement, please advise the tour operator in advance. 1 hour

2. Dongmen Market After tasting the local breakfast, you will continue the journey and explore one of Taipei’s oldest open-air markets, where you can check on the fresh ingredients, ready-to-eat foods, and of course, enjoy some samplings and be inspired! 45 minutes

3. Now, believe you are getting excited and motivated to be a “Master Chef”. Test and sharpen your cooking skills with the guidance of local chef to make your own lunch from your favorite menu option. 4. Yongkang Street Feeling full and wanting to dim your eyes after lunch? Don’t be! It’s not good for your health if you sleep right after eating. Let’s have a light exercise by walking around a local supermarket, and Yongkang Street, which is quite well-known not even within Taiwan but also worldwide. There you will see many amazing restaurants including the original store of Din Tai Fung, which is included in Michelin Bib Gourmands list, and also a must-visit on most foodies’ bucket lists. 2 hours
