If a hotel is inaccessible by car due to restrictions, pickup will be held from a nearby location within a short walking distance. Important Note for Cruise Ship Travelleres, All the cruise passengers with individual programs(on ... their own, not on an organized ship's excursion) are tendered to the old Port of Fira town(Scala port), by tender boats.The old Port of Fira town(Scala Port) is inaccessible by car and it is serviced only by a cable car. Please take the cable car direction up, to Fira town -the capital of the island. The cable car entrance is very easy to find, located 2 minute's walk from the docks, and signs are everywhere. The meeting point location for your private tour will be in front of the McDonalds. The Mcdonald's restaurant is very close to the top of the cable car, 2 blocks away, on the main road. The top of the cable car in Santorini is not car accessible either(located in a pedestrian zone), your private car/van will pick you up in front of the McDonalds (5min walking from the top of the cable car).
