Overview

The Reykjavik CatWalk Join us in Reykjavik for a Cattastic private Walking tour of downtown Reykjavik. This is a private City Walking Tour with a firm focus on our feline companions. We will follow in the Paw Prints of cats since the settlement of Iceland. Together we will explore the myths about Cats in Iceland and the world? We will even explore tails from Cat’s Hiss-story throughout the world. Included in our tour is even a visit to the one and only Reykjavik Cat Coffeehouse to pet some cats while we sip on Coffee or Hot Cocoa and taste Icelandic pastry. If we are fur-fortunate enough and the Cat gods allow, there is the Paw-sibility that we catch a glimpse of the most famous Cats of downtown Reykjavik, Baktus, Jonsi, and Ofelia to name a few. We will start up by the pillars at Ingólfur Square and our final destination is the Statue Garden of Einar Jonsson by Hallgrimskirkja Church. This is a Purrfect 2 hour City Walk in Reykjavik for Cat Lovers

If you are a cat person, this is a great way to meet the famous cats of Reykjavik.

The cat Baktus is a little bad ass. We had to go to a hotel and a couple shops asking for him to finally connect. He's like the cat mayor of Reykjavik and just wanders around (in the snow storm!) checking on his city.

Memorable for all types of Cat People

Family of three (1 avid cat-lover, 1 cats-are-nice, and 1 cat-hater) - all three enjoyed the experience! It was part cat scavenger hunt, but that only added to the fun (I do believe the cat-hater liked being able to spot cats before any of the others). The stories were great and I could tell our guide BarĂ°i enjoyed what he did! This is the experience I share with others when people ask what I did in Iceland! (Pictures of cat-hater and cat-lover ... see, memorable for all!)

Really enjoyable, would recommend to any cat lovers! Learned a lot about Icelandic history and folklore while seeing the most iconic residents of the city.

Our tour guide Bardi was the best. We had a lovely stroll through downtown Reykjavik where we were introduced to the Shop cats. The Cat Cafe was the high point of the tour. For once, I wasn't the only one stopping to get photos of the cats.

This is a wonderful tour which blends the love of cats with the history of Iceland. Our tour guide knew all the hang-out spots for the local cats so we got to meet several! The cat cafe was so much fun and a great place to get a snack, drink, and warm up for a bit on a chilly day. We learned a lot about Reykjavik through interesting stories and folklore tales.
