Overview

"La Isla Del Encanto," meaning "The Island of Enchantment." You will learn, view and experience feelings for nature you have never known. This is a once in a life time opportunity to experience culture, nature, and brush up on your Spanish. You'll learn about the history of the rainforest and the history of San Juan. You'll leave feeling excited and grateful for the intimate experience of this island.

    We will meet in the artsy Santurce section of Downtown San Juan. Here you’ll catch the busy, artistic vibe of San Juan!

    Time for a snack and a view. here you will sample Puerto Rican street food included with the tour. Feel free to roam the kiosks and enjoy local drinks and more food! we will enjoy this food by Luquillo Beach, one of the most beautiful blue beach in all of Puerto Rico. we will enjoy the view and the snacks before we head back to San Juan.

  • Las Paylas

    Here we will start the journey of one of the most unforgettable days of your life. we will take a short hike into the private falls in the foothills of beautiful Las Paylas fall, natural slides, and pools. Views of the only North American Rainforest, forged 145 million years ago with trees and species only to be seen in this forest. You will slide the smooth slides into the cool fresh water of the majestic forest. You'll take a refreshing dip into the energizing waters of El Yunque and we will capture some exciting pictures to share and enjoy one the best days ever.

  • Las Paylas (Pass By)

    As we travel toward El Yunque National Rainforest we will see the beautiful green Luquillo Mountain Range. The range is exciting to move towards being that it formed over a million years ago and is home to one of the most diverse ecosystems. It also rises to over 3500 feet. Just one of the many reasons why Puerto Rico is so unique to see.

    We’ll head back as the sunset toward San Juan for your drop off and I’ll show you around!

My husband and I enjoyed a private tour with Jonathan. He was very friendly and outgoing. He shared a lot of info about Puerto Rico on our ride to the waterfall. He helped guide us through the waterfalls and rocks. At the end when he took us to the beautiful beach we were able to enjoy the food at the kiosks. The entire experience was outstanding and he was very communicative and we were happy we booked this tour.

We weren’t able to make it to the waterfalls because of heavy rainfall and flooding. Johnathon was super great to visit with and took us around and attempted everything he could to make it work! He was wonderful.

My boyfriend and I (both seniors) had an amazing day with Johnathon. His enthusiasm was contagious and stories of the area a fun addition. I expressed my concern with hiking into the waterfall and he was solicitous for the entire time. Not only did he assist us but other tourists that were anxious. A great guy and tour guide. He also gave us some time on our own on a beautiful beach. An unforgettable experience that I can’t recommend highly enough!

Just an awesome day! Jonathan is an outstanding guide - personable, knowledgeable and fun. We truly had a great day in the rainforest and the beach. And when Jonathan says your tour is private - he means it - it was just my husband and I. Per my spouse “ Dude book the tour-you won’t regret it!”

This was a 10/10 experience. Jonathon picked us up from our hotel. We felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. The waterfalls were fun, the beach was beautiful and the food stands were delicious. We’re so happy our snorkeling tour was canceled so we could hangout with Jonathon. He’s also a 10/10.
