Overview

I'm Kevin and you could say that I'm a cultural interpreter, not a teacher (passing on knowledge) or a sightseeing guide (pointing things out). I lead exploratory walks and unscripted cultural experiences. Information is presented in a way that allows my guests to make their own mental connections because, after all, a tour with just interesting information is infotainment. The most memorable tours are the ones that make people think and feel. For example, to this day, in the southeast corner of Nuremberg, the remains of structures located on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds impress visitors with their immense proportions and stand as vivid testimony to the megalomania of the National Socialist regime. This area of 4 square miles was intended to be an impressive backdrop for the Nazi party rallies and serve to demonstrate their power not only to Germany but to the entire world.     My 3-hour Nazi Party Rally Grounds Walking Tour takes place in the southeast corner of Nuremberg, where even to this day, the remains of structures on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds impress visitors with their immense proportions. During my Nazi Party Rally Grounds Tour we will visit the Luitpold Arena site, the Congress Hall, the Congress Hall Gallery, the Great Road, and the Zeppelin Field. We will explore the functions and intended effect of National Socialist architecture as well as how the Party Rally events were stage-managed. It is possible to customize this tour as well and I'll be happy to give you a quote for any Nuremberg tour variation that you want. For example, you might want to consider my Nuremberg WW2 Combo tour. My Nazi Party Rally Grounds tour lasts 3 hours and is a leisurely, kid-friendly, walking tour. PLEASE NOTE: This tour can also be driven if you'd like to do it in less than 3 hours. The material covered and the tour price are the same.

Kevin is fantastic!

Our guide, Kevin, had an AMAZING command of not only Nazi/Third Reich history, but of German/world history as well. We found this combination to be helpful (necessary, really) to be able to place the rise of Hitler into context. Good communication before the tour as well.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and interesting. He was on time and delivered exactly what he had promised. He was so accommodating, he even took off to our embarkation port instead of back to the hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Nazi Rally Grounds tour with Kevin. He was punctual and very personable. It was nice to visit with an American and being able to ask delicate questions that might otherwise be awkward to ask a German guide. Kevin was knowledgeable, professional and insightful. The time flew by! It was fun talking to someone who shared the same interest and passion for this period in world history. My only regret is that I didn’t do his Palace of Justice tour too. I would recommend his tour services to anyone going to Nuremberg.

Great & informative Nazi Party Rally Grounds tour

Kevin gave us a great tour of the Nazi Party Rally Grounds in NĂĽrnberg. He picked us up at our Airbnb right on time and then showed us around the grounds. It was clear from the start that he has lots of knowledge about the Second World War. He also brought pictures of what the sites used to look like, which really helped bring his stories to life. If you want a tour guide who is great at conveying a difficult history in a fun and informative way, Kevin's your guy!

4 of us scheduled the WW2 tour- it exceeded our expectations. Kevin has great photos to accompany his tours and has fantastic knowledge and stories to tell. We made several stops around Nuremberg to see places Hitler had been and held rallies. After our WW2 tour, he drove us thru the OldTowne to point out highlights to us such as the oldest cathedral, half timbered homes, and other historical sites. We’ve been to Nuremberg a few times before - but this past trip, after our tour with Kevin- it put a whole new perspective on that area for us. He also recommended a great coffee/pastry shop to us and a delicious sausage restaurant to us near St Sebald’s Cathedral
