You're welcome to take a front or a back seat in the planning of this private tour package! We have the experience and know-how to focus on particular places or areas of personal interest, or to lay out a full itinerary for your enjoyment. Our favourite route focuses on religion (which is so important to the lives of most Indians) and you learn about Hinduism, Islam and lesser known Jainism. Visually, this is an impressive tour- you will admire the Haji Ali in the middle of the sea, enjoy views from Mahalaxmi Temple, and get a one-of-a-kind perspective of Mumbai (and Marine Drive) from the Hanging Gardens. Dhobi Ghat, the world's largest open-air laundry, as well as the Gandhi museum are also conveniently located en route. This is a private package tour and customized for you, so you can omit or add anything to the list. Or, if you prefer, we can do a completely different route, that's fine!

    Surrounded on all sides by water, this mosque is located at the end of a long causeway protruding into the sea. It is the tomb of Saint Haji Ali, a wealthy Muslim who renounced the world and proceeded to Mecca. It is said that he died in Mecca and the casket miraculously drifted to the spot where the mosque was later built in his honour.

Amazing! Unbelievable that I was able to see all Mumbai’s incredible sights in one day. The city is huge with many neighborhoods, historic and cultural sights and those beautiful temples but my great guide Sabina covered it all. Thank you!

Fantastic Mumbai Tour

Wonderful day trip with Raj who was a great guide . Raj and our driver picked up our group of 5 people from our hotel as arranged via Bipin in the office . Raj suggested our route as we had seen many places of interest already on another Mumbai tour . We started with lunch in the Taj Palace which was a great experience , we then went into the railway station and actually went inside having seen the outside the previous day , this was a real eye opener . We then saw numerous other Mumbai places of interest and Raj gave us many interesting facts about the City . After visiting a huge open air laundry and market area in Dadah he took us to where he grew up in the slum city of Dharavi . Dharavi was amazing and probably for me the highlight , Raj took us through the commercial and residential areas with his knowledge of the area being a huge asset , he knew many people in the area . I would throughly recommend Reality Tours and Raj , I also like that they return a percentage of the profits to slum areas to help the people living in those areas .
