    Upon arrival in Cai Be, have a boat ride to the remaining site of a renowned wholesale floating market on the Tien River many years ago. This site entitles you to know something about the local trading habit that has changed due to the age of the modern society when more terrestrial transportation and high technique of agriculture have dominated everywhere.

    There, you can realize how diverse the area is and how rich orchard gardens are, which makes it the basket of fruit in the lower part of the Mekong River. Ramble in small villages where you will uncover the beauty of an ancient house and learn about the indigenous culture. Make a short visit to a small family business where the locals make coconut fudges and crispy rice popcorn. Mekong river private tour with Vincent

It was very immersive. Our guide, Vincent gave us great information from the car ride and on every stop. Most special was the candy making factory, where he showed us the first steps, based on his childhood experience, making it personal and authentic. The classic Vietnamese musician performance at the Fruit restaurant stop was also a cultural experience and very unique.

My mother (60) and uncle (40) came to visit me (30) in Vietnam and we did the 2D1N Cai Be - Can Tho tour from Saigon with Nhựt Bảo. There were three other people on our tour. We all enjoyed it and thought it was good value for money. I felt safe in the bus, which is not always the case in Vietnam. Bao was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The activities were interesting. The food was better than a similar tour I did a few years ago. The only improvement we would suggest is a stop at coffee shop on the first day - there were quite a lot of activities squeezed in and we were all a bit tired. I would book another tour with this company in the future. Thanks, Bảo!
