Our driver, Andreas, was awesome. He filled us in on history, culture, food, everything on our drive to Olympia. He was pleasant and flexible, tailoring the trip to our interests. On the way back to the boat, we stopped at an Olive Oil Company and then he drove around looking for a homeowner, shaking the olives from the trees since we asked about how that looked. When he found someone, he pulled over, not only for pictures, but talked to the owner who let us help with the olive shaking. It was so much fun and the experience was amazing. Andreas made this an unforgettable experience.

Andreas was right on time at 8:15am for our excursion from the NCL Prima at the Katakolon Port in Greece for our private tour, driving a very clean Mercedes sedan. Andreas greeted us with a friendly, warm smile. We departed for Olympia, and learned and saw many interesting things along the way to Olympia. Andreas has a great way to inform in a conversational way, without sounding like you are sitting in a lecture. Andreas was a great driver, cautious, and drove at a good speed. We arrived first at Olympia Museum and the site of the original Olympics, which was fascinating. Andreas gave us great insights of this on the way and even lent us a personal book on the original Olympics, which was very helpful. He also gave us simple and effective instructions where to meet him at the conclusion of the tour there, we meet after nearly 2 hours. We had a terrific rest of the trip, opting for a Olive oil tour instead of the winery, and then to downtown for shopping and some beer and great food. . We couldn't have been more satisfied and recommend this tour highly!

Great tour. Marilena (sp?) picked us up at the end of the pier. The car was very comfortable and on the way to Olympia we learned a great deal about Greece and how people live there. She wisely had us go to the museum first to beat some of the tour buses. After the Olympia ruins we visited a delightful winery where we had a private tour and tasting. We finished up with a visit to a nice beach. She was a great driver/guide and would highly recommend.

Christo was punctual, kind and helpful. He directed us to the most appropriate sites and waited Patiently for us. The winery and local food selections were great. The visit to the Olympic site and museum was super.
