Lake Tamblingan and Buyan It looks like a twin lake from the sky, you can see this lake is surrounded by coffee and clove plantation. From Bedugul with its Bratan lake, it will take only around 15 minutes toward the north before we can see in the left Lake Buyan with its glass like still waters. Following the road winding up the hill, through groups of monkeys on the road sides, we will arrive at the junction on the top of the hill, in this junction take the left turn (the straight direction go toward Singaraja city of north Bali).

Brahmavihara Arama Buddha Banjar is a Buddhist temple that was built in the late 20th century Christian exactly in 1960 and after 1970 it was opened formally in 1973. Actually Buddhist has been built before located at Banjar Tegehe around the hot spring area of Banjar Village, but at that time only the few of people adherents were getting more increasing then Brahmavihara Arama was finally built on such area of land, the area has been expanded in order to be able to build Borobudur Miniature that is located on the southern part of the Brahmavihara Arama that has been built and opened.

Banjar Hot Spring or locally known as Air Panas Banjar is one of the most popular tourist destinations in North Bali for a relaxed day pampering yourself with the benefits of the healing sulfurous water. The complex is set in a beautiful tropical garden and consists of three pools. The two main pools are decorated with stone-carved Naga sculptures spewing water in the pools. These Nagaās are in Hindu mythology often associated with water and wells and are considered to be protectors of hidden treasures. The pools are built around the Banjar hot water spring.

My daughter and I spent a wonderful day seeing some stunning lakes, enjoying a beautiful botanical garden, and so much more. Gusti Eka got us to every location safely and was a very kind driver.

Wayan was amazing, friendly, and so accommodating. Amazing tour showing the non touristy areas of Bali! So cool to see the coffee plantation, hot springs, and local culture such as a market
Beautiful places to see in North Bali

My wife and I did the North Bali tour with Bali Full Day Tour company on 09 May. We selected this private tour online, based on the sightseeing locations that were mentioned on the itinerary. Payment was made in full to the driver on the day, at the start of the tour. This was the second day of our private tour with the knowledgeable and pleasant Gusti Ekaputra. Apart from Toilet stops which we made at Indomaret outlets, we could also make quick photo stops any other point along the way. Just as in the East Bali Tour which we had taken the day before, distances were long but the car was very comfortable and Gusti gave us many interesting facts about the sightseeing locations we visited just as he had done the previous day. We were very happy to have Gusti as our driver for the second day and would definitely recommend him for full day trips such as these. During our North Bali tour, it rained but we could still view the Lakes (Tamblingan and Buyan) as a drive-by stop both ways. Because the rains had stopped on our way back to Kuta and the views afforded by the change in weather were breath-taking. We decided not to visit the Munduk Waterfall (which was on the itinerary) for safety reasons because of the weather and the long walk to the falls, almost entirely off-road. We visited the Banjar Hot Springs in time for lunch. This is a set of two open sulfur baths, very nicely done, with a restaurant above the Baths. Our last sightseeing stop for the day was the Buddha temple. For us this was the highlight of the day because we could feel the peace and tranquility that the place exuded. There are some steps to climb to enter the temple grounds, which are extremely well maintained and felt very serene. The views were breathtaking from the top end of the hill which is but a short walk up another flight of stairs. Beautiful places to see in North Bali, well worth a visit.
Beautiful sightseeing trip

Our tour guide Naya made our day trip an excellent experience. His knowledge of the area, especially with shortcuts to avoid traffic jams, allowed us to spend more time seeing the sights and appreciating the beauty of the area. Naya helped us enjoy more of the area and even treated us to a special ride through a local area that was spectacular.
