    Meet your tour guide in the lobby of your Chongqing hotel, hop on your private air-conditioned vehicle, embark upon your customized tour of the city's sights. Discuss the historical highlights and attractions you wish to see with your knowledgeable guide who will help you plan an itinerary according to your interests. Then, set off and explore. Typically, you will start with the unique experience by take the cable car cross the Yangtze River. During the 5 minutes cable car ride, enjoy panoramic views of the Yangtze River and admire the city’s modern architecture. Learn about the fascinating culture and history of Chongqing from your tour guide.

    Move on to People's Assembly Hall. People's Assembly Hall is a Ming and Qing Dynasties style building, combined with western architectural style. To accommodate important guests from home and abroad.

    Cross the road, you will continue to explore the Three Gorges Museum. Three Gorges Museum is the largest monographic museum, it is also a public undertaking for the preservation, education, scientific research in respect of cultural relics and the natural environment of Chongqing and the Three Gorges area. Follow your tour guide to stroll around 4 different displays which houses more than 180 thousand collections.

    Enjoy lunch in the local restaurant, then heading to Ciqikou. With the history of 1700 years, Ciqikou is famous for its production of porcelain in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Take your time to stroll around the village with your tour guide who will explain the histories and stories along the way. Discover three notable attractions of the village: tea bars, the artists' studios and the Shu Embroidery workshops. Purchase your unique souvenirs, your tour guide will offer advice on how to negotiate price.

    Finally, finish your tour in the lively nightlife district of Jiefangbei Square. As the busiest and most prosperous business district in West China. Jiefangbei Square was a multifunctional dining, retail and entertainment center flowing with restaurants, boutiques, cafes and bars of an international standard. Follow your tour guide and explore the area. And feel free to taste delicious snacks at the food street. If you have already visit some of those places above before, and want to do something different. Please feel free to discuss with your tour guide on where to go, you can choose these attractions or activities base on your interests: Chongqing Zoo/ Hongya Cave/E'ling Park/General Joseph W. Stilwell Museum/Chaotianmen Square. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Chongqing.

Visiting Chongqing was both overwhelming, fun and beautiful. The city is huge and always bustling with activity. The quaint villages were very interesting to visit. We were there from 8 April for 2. Ashley Liao was our tour guide and Mr. Wang our driver. They were very professional and quickly adapted to our needs as things changed. They made us feel very welcome in Chongqing and we truly enjoyed our experience here. Many thanks Nailand and Cathy Smith.
