The Puente de Piedra is also called the Bridge of Lions because since 1991 four lions (symbols of the city) have been placed on the pillars at each end of the bridge. The lion statues were designed by Francisco Rallo Lahoz.

The Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar is a Roman Catholic church in the city of Zaragoza, Aragon. The basilica venerates Blessed Virgin Mary, under her title Our Lady of the Pillar praised as "Mother of the Hispanic Peoples" by Pope John Paul II. It is reputed to be the first church dedicated to Mary in history.

This is a very good tour to catch the highlights of the city allowing time to return to the desired and areas of interest.

We both really enjoyed the tour. Jose’s passion, wealth of knowledge and curiosity for the city was contagious. My wife and me spend few hours after buzzing, talking about Zaragoza. I would recommend this experience to any one. Also Zaragoza turned out to be a hidden gem of Europe.

Jose Antonio did a great job! We really enjoyed the tour because him. He is very knowledgeable and you can see that he loves what he does.

José is an amazing guide!

We chose to do a more history based tour and were paired with José as our guide. Not only was he knowledgeable about the city and its monuments l, but he also happened to be a geologist/paleontologist! He was able to share all kinds of insights you wouldn't get through a regular tour! Our tour ended up running a little over time because we all could have talked forever! José also gave us some great recommendations for more museums and restaurants to check out after the tour (the Roman ones are awesome!) If you are interested in the history of Zaragoza, we cannot recommend José enough.

The guide customized the tour based on my interests, which I really appreciated. The most memorable part was probably going up the tour inside the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar.
