These photos help visualize and better understand the restoration of the world’s largest history museum. Most of the tour is seated during breakfast for those who enjoy the warmth (or air conditioning) indoors. This is an easily accessible tour, well suited for those who enjoy a creative culinary experience, breakfast on bad weather days or for any individuals with physical limitations. Our guide will offer an easy tour of some of the grounds including a look at the Golden Horseshoe Golf courses or admire some of the original décor of the hotel and grounds as well as a short walk to the Duke of Gloucester St., the most historic street in America. Note: Guests pay for their own breakfast including food, drinks and gratuities to hotel staff.

Great unique way to learn about history of area!

Our guide Brandi was fantastic. Very knowledgeable of the history of the colony from settlement of Jamestown thru to the reconstruction of historic Williamsburg in the 20th century. She was very engaging and gave info we hadn’t heard before during our visit. It was a great private experience for us (3 Adults). . The Williamsburg Inn lobby and restaurant were a great setting. Definitely Recommend.

Worth it.

How knowledgeable our guide (Bambi Walters) was, and how interesting she made the entire event. All in all, we feel the experience was a great value for the money and time we spent. Thank you Bambi.

Lots of great information!

We had an excellent time! Bambi is super knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Colonial Williamsburg and it's infectious. For this, it's more of a talk than a tour but it's a great alternative to all the walking tours in town and a good break from the weather. This talk is about the restoration of the town in the 30s but did cover a lot of the colonial town history. Breakfast is not included in the tour price, but the price was worth the education. And we got a book to keep that had a lot of information that was covered in the tour for additional reading.
