Gracias Duran!

My girlfriend and I had a great experience with Duran. He picked us up at our hotel and drove us around Cartagena, getting off in different neighborhoods or important landmarks, making it a very complete, efficient, and pleasant way to explore Cartagena in half a day. Hernand belongs in the tour guide hall of fame!

Hernand belongs in the tour guide hall of fame! Duran Duran tour operator set us up for a private Cartagena tour for 3 couples in a van. The communication between our driver and Hernand was awesome so that when we walked from one place to the next, there was never more than a few more steps to the car which was waiting for us on the other side. Duran Duran was awesome with their communication pre-tour. Finding our van and Hernand just outside the cruise ship terminal was easy. But the cherry on top was Hernand. One of the most knowledgeable, friendly & insightful guides we’ve ever had in decades of travel! Thank you!

History with a sense of humor

We wanted a quick tour and history of Cartagena, but there was so much to see it took every minute of three hours! Best was the trip up the hill to Convento Santa Cruz de la Popa. Duran was able to tell us so much about all the places we visited. His English is excellent and his sense of humor is wonderful.

Mr. Duran is AMAZING! He provided a van and took us to places in the walled city, to the fort, and to the monastery. He was personable and knowledgeable. WELL WORHT every penny we paid and more.

Duran Duran was as good as it gets as a tour guide visiting the historic town of Cartagena. He is deeply cultured, yet dynamic and entertaining with a fun, uplifting personality. Duran Duran is also super professional, on-time, receptive, and impeccably organized. I would absolutely recommend him. He even went the extra mile. When I realized I had lost my glasses. He reached out to the emerald shop so they could check the security cameras to see if I had left them there and checked the Mercedes minivan where we were transported even though I didn’t find my glasses I couldn’t have asked for more, efficient and warm help from him. Well done, Duran Duran!!
