Prague's Jewish Quarter is one of the most important and richest Jewish museums in the world. Thanks to this service, you don't have to purchase an admission ticket at the cash desk and you will enjoy the visit straight away! Meet the representative at the Get Prague Guide office at Maiselova 5, just a few steps from the Maisel Synagogue. Who will give you the admission ticket and give you an introduction of 20 min in English about the Jewish Quarter and take you for a little walk to the Jewish Town and will explain to you how to visit all the important sites inside of the ghetto. Thanks to this ticket you will look inside synagogues in the area, go to the Old Jewish Cemetery, one of the oldest in Central Europe, and many other sites. Once the introduction is over you will go and visit the Jewish ghetto at your own pace. WHICH SITES YOU ARE GOING TO VISIT DEPENDS ON THE OPTION YOU WILL CHOOSE.     Pick up your tickets and meet your guide at the office GET PRAGUE GUIDE at Maiselova 5,  110 00, Prague 1. Look for the blue and white umbrella logo! The guide will give you a short introduction in English about the history of Jewish Town and help you with the orientation in the area.

    With a ticket to Circuit 1 and 2, you can also visit the Maisel Synagogue. Nowadays, there is a permanent exhibition focused on Jews in Bohemian Lands (10th-18th Century).

    With a ticket to Circuit 1 or 2, you can visit the Old Jewish Cemetery. It is one of the oldest and largest Jewish cemeteries in Central Europe. The earliest tombstone dates back to 1439. There are about 12 000 tombstones!

    With a ticket to Circuit 1 and 2, you can visit Spanish Synagogue. Spanish Synagogue is one of the most beautiful synagogues in Central Europe to be built in Moorish style. You can see a permanent exhibition The History of the Jews in Bohemia and Moravia there.

Our guide from “Get Your Guide Prague” was fantastic. She did a brilliant job of showing us how to navigate around the Jewish Quarter and gave some amazing context on this specific community. It was perfect for people like us who prefer to navigate ourselves around the sites at our own pace and based on what we find most interesting. All tickets were included and allowed us to skip the line in front of giant tour groups. There was also so much information on the walls at every stop so it’s very easy to learn about the history without having a dedicated guide.

Great experience with just enough information and extra time to explore on your own.

Great experience with just enough information and extra time to explore on your own. The guide walked us around the Jewish area and gave us information on each temple and what exhibitions to expect in each and other relevant information which was super helpful for us. We received a map of the area and some suggested dining options. We ended up eating at the 5th delicatessen and it was yummy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience! If you would like to have a guided tour, but also want time to explore on your own, then this is perfect for you! Our guide, Martin, met us at the ticket office and walked around the old town square and the Jewish Quarter with us. He explained the history of the Jewish Quarter and explained exactly where each attraction is and why it is important. We were then left to our own devices, with our ticket to gain entry into the attractions. This was great because Martin had told us a lot of information and we were very well informed on the area, but were able to stop and start our walk whenever we wanted. I thoroughly enjoyed the morning.
