First, you´ll try a special Housemade Sausage, perfectly fried Egg, Parmesan and Pesto on a Crips Buttery Sourdough. Then, after a nice cultural walk, as with all our tours, there is our delicious Secret Dish and, honestly, it’s just so good! We walk around the Pearl District and make sure you sample a locally brewed Beer & a Special Pretzel with a Dip. We´ll switch scenarios, going towards an eclectic side of Downtown and resting in front of a Tonkotsu Ramen. You´ll try a unique local Simpsons Donut and will know why we call it this way. You´ll then have a final chat in an old local cafe. At the end of your tour, you´ll have tasted some of city’s most delicious dishes and gained a better understanding of our local culture and history.

Such a good afternoon of food and conversations!

We had a wonderful time on this food tour with Rebecca (Becs!) She was so lovely, conversational, and fun. She told the best stories and colored Portland in such a fun way. Additionally, you can tell the Rebecca really cares about those on her tour. She went out of her way to spend time with each couple to talk and get to to know them. The food on the tour was so wonderful! We started off the day with yummy breakfast sandwiches and then walked to some great authentic Thai food from a quaint little place. From there we walked to Powells Bookstore and got a unique conversation on the history of the place before we walked to a brewery and had great drinks (additional cost that was well worth it) and a yummy pretzel and cheese dip. Be sure to catch a beautiful hand carved posts in the brewery along with the cool green plaid carpet. Next we went to gets some flavorful ramen and ended the tour with donuts from Voodoo Donuts from and coffee from Stumptown. This was such a wonderful way to spend and afternoon and Rebecca made the whole experience so fun and memorable.

Rebecca was great! The tour was fun and informative as well as delicious! Would totally go again. I appreciated hours the portions weren’t just a couple bites but well worth the price of the tour!

Rebecca was a fantastic tour guide. Not only did she pick fabulous places with great food that we may have missed on our trip here but her knowledge of the history of Portland entertained us! Highly recommend her!

Had a Blast with Portland's Secret Food Tour

My partner and I booked this food tour on December 7th and really enjoyed exploring Portland's food scene with our fun, jovial guide Rebecca (Bex). Bex gave us the history about Portland and the food scene. On this tour we tasted vittles and drinks from Fried Egg I'm in Love, Nong's Khao Man Gai, Deschutes Brewery, Voodoo Doughnuts, Afuri, and Stumptown Coffee. Our favorite meals were Afuri's spicy, nut-based vegan ramen that had an amazing broth and Nong's Khao Man Gai's chicken and rice dish--- yummy! She also took us to the famous Powell's Books for a brief tour. Overall we had a great time, and recommend this excursion for foodie travelers.
