This is the only tour in Portland that takes you underground in the Shanghai Tunnels. Under our restaurant and taproom is the largest intact area of the legendary Shanghai Tunnels, where we are the exclusive tour provider. Learn about Portland's dark history and hear stories about our resident ghost, Nina. Finish up with special beer tasting and 1 pint of our internationally award-winning beer.     Tour in the heart of the Shanghai Tunnels! Book a tour in the heart of the Shanghai Tunnels. Learn about Portland's history and our resident ghost Nina. Finish up with 3 tasters and 1 pint of our internationally award-winning beer. Tour involves walking up and down stairs and maneuvering between pipes between the ceiling and floor.

While we didn't encounter any spirits or souls along this tour, the history of the tunnels was still fascinating. Keeps your eyes and nose open for their resident soul, Nina.

The tour guide was amazing as well as the tunnels! I loved the story about Nina and the experiences that the staff have with her. Also the candle flying off the bar is a great video clip.
