Overview

This trip of around two hours and thirty minutes, departing from the Marina of Portimão, offers two magnificent experiences: the observation of cetaceans (dolphins and whales) and the observation of our Algarve coast with a visit to the famous Benagil Cave. To enhance your experience, we have a highly qualified marine biologist on board. This specialized multilingual professional (Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish) will be available to share their extensive knowledge about cetaceans, seabirds in the region, as well as marine life, and the local ecosystem, ensuring that all our passengers can fully understand and appreciate the wonderful marine life. Feel free to ask questions as our marine biologist will be at your disposal to answer any inquiries you may have. We are a team of professionals, passionate about the sea, who are dedicated to their work to make your trip a unique and unforgettable moment!

Itinerary

Guided by a multilingual marine biologist, in the middle of an endless blue, we will search for the most emblematic animals in the world, dolphins. On this tour along our coast, we can see 6 species of dolphins and 3 species of whales that will provide you with strong and unforgettable emotions. Continuing our trip, we show you some of the most beautiful rock formations in the world, including the famous “Algar de Benagil” cave. Note: Entry to the caves and swimming stop are subject to closures or sea conditions.

Excellent tour - worth the money!

Good tour if you want to see the shore line, caves and dolphins. Marine biologist on board was very knowledgeable and gave commentary in multiple languages. Due to bad weather, our trip got cancelled and rescheduled for another day but it was really a smooth experience end to end.

Guide was very knowledgeable about the caves and the dolphins. He also made an effort to make sure everyone was feeling okay and of good spirits. We saw lots of gorgeous dolphins and had such a lovely tour!

One of the highlights of our trip. Great excursion out to see dolphins followed by the caves. We saw so many dolphins as they swam around the boat jumping out of the water. The caves were magnificent full of color. We went in the afternoon for the sunset cruise and it did not disappoint. Perfect end to a wonderful day.

The trip was so good . The marine biologist on board was so helpful . He was asking us all through out the trip if we are felling comfortable. We have seen the dolphins so early in our trip and they also had explained about the algarve coast .

Absolutely amazing experience. The biologist was a top man and learnt a lot from him including portugal with 10 million people is the top consumer of cod in the world and also they have 500 ways of cooking cod! Also discussed how they celebrate xmas. Really appreciated his warmth. Really genuine man who has such a passion for his job. We saw dolphins and the caves were breath taking.
