  • Pompeii

    At arrival in Pompeii your Skip-the-Line tickets to the ancient site will be much appreciated as you breeze past the long lines and enter into this time capsule of the ancient Roman world. Here you will meet your local, expert, English speaking guide who knows all the hidden corners and interesting tales that are waiting to be discovered inside. Visit the marvelously preserved ancient villas, public baths, restaurants, theatres, and maybe even a brothel, of the ancient world as the past comes to life through the insights and stories of your enthusiastic guide.

    After some free time for a few last pictures of Pompeii and lunch (at own expense) the tour will continue further south along the picturesque seaside roads of the Amalfi Coast where the Dolce Vita was born. Here your breath will be taken away by the spectacular coastlines as the mountains cascade into the sea and romantic villages climb up the mountains like grapevines.

    The winding roads will lead you to one of the most beautiful seaside villages that the Amalfi Coast has to offer, Positano. Here you will have free time to explore the meandering streets lined with artisanal local shops or just sit back and enjoy the incredible view while sipping the local specialty, limoncello! Whichever you choose you will be sure to remember your afternoon in this jewel of a seaside village.

Had an amazing time visiting all the sites in one single day! Roberto was phenomenal at being our guide and had fun stories to share, plus we got lucky in taking so many photos and beautiful views. Would definitely recommend !

Our guide, Rob, was great. He was very knowledgeable and funny. Always attentive to everyone's needs. Very focused on what you had say/ask. The guides for our Pompeii tour were also great! They were from the city of modern day Pompeii so they knew their stuff. It was an overall great experience. The only downside was that most of Postiano's shops were closed due to being off season but it was great to know that you could walk on the beach without paying a fee during off season. I was able to get many photos and was greatful to meet people who take my photo because I was solo. I felt safe and I would definitely do this again!

Our bus guide, Rob, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the long drive both there and back enjoyable but still with time to rest each way. I loved all of his fun facts along the way. The sites were beautiful! The tour of Pompeii was very interesting and my favorite thing so far on my vacation to Italy. Giorgio was excellent guiding our group! After Pompeii, the drive to the Amalfi coast and Postisno was simply breathtaking. Unlike anything I’ve seen before. Definitely a must for your trip to Italy!

Unforgettable day with the best guides!!! Sonia kept us on track and organised and had such a sweet way about her. She was lots of fun too! Eduardo guided us through Pompei with his extensive knowledge and humour. Visiting Positano was so very beautiful. We stopped for limoncello by the beach. Wow. The group was running late and moved us from the 0715 to 0730 tour. Meet up is at the fountain by the Museo side. There is a McD across the street for an early to go coffee before the tour meet up time. First stop was a store where you can buy sandwiches, pastries, drink, souvenirs, as well as use the bathrooms. In Pompeii we had a tour guide and were able to hear him through his microphone he used, and headsets we used. We were glad to have learned about and experienced this historical wonder. Next stop was Positano. Note the road to is very windy road, if you are prone to motion sickness, drink your medicine. From the big bus we had to use smaller shuttle buses. The town was picturesque and cute. Small souvenir shop in town. After Positano we heaed back to Roma with one restroom stop en route. Left at 0730, and returned at 2030. It was a fun, but long, day. Sonia was a great tour leader giving little stories about the places we stopped and so thoughtful in her recommendations for activities and restaurants around Roma. Thank you!
