Overview

Pisa is well known as a city of art, but not everyone knows that, not far from the center, it is possible to spend a day at the beach. Along the new cycle path “Trammino” you can discover the seaside of Marina di Pisa. This is a perfect tour for families and for those who want to ride safely and quietly, between the countryside, the pine forest and the sea. This route offers amazing landscapes, such as the Mouth of the Arno (Bocca d’Arno), characterized by the presence of “scales” and “retoni” (large fishing nets placed on wooden constructions similar to stilts) and the characteristic tourist harbor. Along the coast it is possible to stop to take a swim, taste good fried seafood and an excellent ice cream. This is a tour a tour where the real stars are you, the sun and the sea!

Bike ride to the sea

We spent the best day in Pisa on the ride to the sea bike tour. The day was perfect, blue skies and cool temperatures We rode to the sea, had a delicious lunch and rode back to Pisa. Daniel was very accommodating, got us all set up with e-bikes and helmets. Highly recommend this bike tour for something different to do in Florence

A fantastic place to hire bikes, the owner was very helpfuland the ride to the cost was amazing. Great cycle paths and a flat ride.

We really enjoy this trip, the bike ride is around 18 miles round trip but very safe and flat, took around an hour to cycle each way, you can upgrade to e-bikes but we wanted the exercise. Nice to see the country side and had a delicious meal at the seaside. Really lovely couple own this business and couldn’t do more to help us. For a small charge they lent us a locker and cycle bag. Bikes were sturdy and fitted to size. Would highly recommend.

Elena was very helpful in setting up our gravel bikes with appropriate pedals and gear. Their app is very good to see and maintain your route using your smart phone. A great, fun ride into the country and to the sea.

We rented two good quality road bikes, in good condition, and took the Ciclopista del Trammino. This is a good, flat ride. Excellent service.
