The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour in at least 4 stops around the historical center of Parma. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible. Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

The guide with Eugenio was wonderful, he was very kind, informative and bring to us different types of informations of Parma and all the region that was very knowledgeables. All the places and foods that he took us was incredible!

Amazing city food tour experience in Parma!

We were lucky to have a private food tour in Parma with Darren as it was late November and not many tourists. Darren was friendly, professional and more than happy to share his local experiences, knowledge and insights with us, having lived in the region for the past few years. He first brought us to a local salumeria and explained the different types of cured meats and cheeses, followed by a tasting session at a nearby eatery, then fresh handmade pasta at another restaurant, then main courses at another (but we were too full by then), and finally ending off the tour with some lovely gelato with unique flavours. The tour was definitely worth the price and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Parma to really bring out the best that this city has to offer and someone like Darren to bring it to life!
