There are knowledgeable, experienced, fun guides; and there are history majors who know all the depths of what on the tour. Marley is both! One of the best guides I've ever toured with (and I've had many excellent ones). I asked some obscure questions, and she knew the answers to them all. She also kept us safe biking around the traffic, pointed me to an excellent Middle-eastern food joint. At the end of the tour, she gave me a PDF of her recommendations. Holy cow! It reminds me of one of my college professors gave out notes in class so I could focus on paying attention to the lecture instead of scrambling to write stuff down! Marley's notes were polished but not generic.
The folks at the Peloton Cafe, where we met for the tour, were super friendly. That helped me, as an introvert. Marley had a flat in the middle of the tour---that set us back a bit but it was handled as fast as I could have expected. The bikes were in great condition (although mine rattled a bit over the coblestones). This is a small business and it's run like one, in a good way.
Terrific value. If it was in the summer, and there were more tours offered, I'd take them. I highly recommend it.
