Overview

We will spend a couple of hours together discovering the wonders of Ortigia. You will really visit the area with a local guide that grew up here and have learnt directly from her grandmother the secrets and stories of these places. My father is a Tour guide too and he was born in Ortigia so i have a deep connection with this island.

We will meet in front of the Temple of Apollo ( there is a Bar called Caffè Apollo) we will meet overthere.

    We will see the oldest Temple of Sicily

  • Syracuse Cathedral

    We will see the cathedral of Syracuse with his stunning greeck Temple inside. It's unique in the world because has 4 different styles mixed together.

  • Fonte Aretusa

    We will see the Aretusa's fresh water spring, the simbol of Syracuse famous for his amazing greeck legend and not only this

    10 minutes

  • Mercato di Ortigia

    We will do an interesting walking trought the local market to have a look of the seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh fish, cheeses and local sicilian products.

Wonderful tour and guide!

We have done many tours in travels to 50+ countries. Letizia is one of the best! She is very easy to be with but as her family goes back generations here she is intimately knowledgeable about Ortigia and Sicily both in terms of culture and history. It was so fun and at the same time we learned sooo much about this fascinating place.
