Overview

The guided tour includes a magnificent walk along the Medieval Hanseatic Old Town streets whilst enjoying the beauty of the Dome Cathedral, Old Guild house as well as the Riga Castle. One of the most famous buildings located across the Town Hall is the magnificent Gothic House of the Blackheads. walking tour of riga.

Gita or guide met us promptly at the departure point (opposite the school for an extra bit of info for you all) .  As it says, they will wait approx 5 mins for late comes but then the group is off! Two hours,  very informative tour of the city without the history being too heavy. Stops at all the main points of interest and at a gentle pace. You could ask questions as the tour went along and all in all the time flew by. Great way to spend my last morning in beautiful Riga, with the sun out finally! Have to come back when sun or for longer!

Very nice tour. I really enjoyed learning about the history of Riga and Latvia in general. Baiba did a great job explaining the places and buildings we walked by and the stories about them. She also did an excellent job giving us recommendations for authentic Latvian restaurants. I would recommend this tour.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour- we were the only two on it, so it was a private tour of the old town! We learned a lot about the city and the history of Latvia as well- our guide was extremely knowledgable and made some recommendations for places to stop in after the tour as well. This was a great way to see the Old town and learn about its history.
