Overview

Thanks to this experience you will be able to experience the magic of a true panoramic tour of the city of Olbia and at the same time have a qualified guide at your complete disposal. The Tour includes a 15 km route, which includes the narrow streets of the historic center, the Basilica of San Simplicio, "Corso Umberto", Piazza Matteotti and Piazza Regina Margherita, the "Fausto Noce" park, the main streets of the city, the Roman aqueduct and the Roman cistern. You will be able to photograph the various monuments included in the tourist itinerary with the support of an audio guide in 6 languages.

Itinerary

  • Museum Civitatense Basilica di San Simplicio (Pass By)

    The basilica of San Simplicio, in Olbia, is the most important and ancient religious monument in north-eastern Sardinia and a testimony to the spread of Christianity on the island. Cathedral until 1839, parish church since 1955, it was given the title of minor basilica in 1993 by Pope John Paul II. It is dedicated to San Simplicio, protobishop of the city and martyr under the emperor Diocletian.

  • Chiesa di San Paolo Apostolo (Pass By)

    The building stands in the upper part of the historic center and was built on the ruins of a pagan temple from the Roman era, perhaps dedicated to Hercules. Originally named after the Conversion of Saint Paul, it was the only parish in Olbia until 1954, when the ancient basilica of San Simplicio was reopened.

  • Parco Fausto Noce (Pass By)

    The Fausto Noce park is the green lung of the city. With eighteen hectares of greenery, in 2005 it was nominated as the second best greenery project in Italy.

We was only in olbia for two days and did not have a car. This tour was Great to see Little more of the coust. It was a nice Way to go in the tuc tuc. The driver was verry nice to

Just got back from the Costa Smeralda tour with Alessio. Alessio was easy to communicate with and was easy to arrange for pick up and drop off for a small fee, as me and my partner were staying outside of Olbia and didn't have our own transport. Hand sanitizer was available in the back of the tuk-tuk, pre-recorded audio tracks giving information about various places being passed or stopped at. Looking forward to booking ourselves on a different tour with the company when we next come to Sardinia! Grazie Alessio!

Had an amazing day touring Sardinia in a lovely and unique TukTuk. Alessio was fantastic and very prompt to collect us. He spoke great English. We then did a tour of La Maddalena and the islands which was fantastic with plenty of beach and relaxation time. Highly recommend this tour! Thank you Alessio!
