Overview

The magnificent beaches of Cala Moresca, the crystal clear waters, the island of Figarolo, the dolphins that often swim next to you: these are just some of the things that make this experience unique. The excursion is especially dedicated to beginners, who thanks to the pre-departure lesson and the help of our guides, will be able to live an unforgettable experience

Meeting points

The Baracconi beach is located on the road to Cala Moresca, Golfo Aranci. Take the dirt road to go to Cala Moresca up to a junction, where it will be mandatory to go down on the right, in a small road that leads directly to the beach of Baracconi, the starting point of the Tour.

Itinerary

Visit our website for special promotions !!! @Kayakingmoresca After a short lesson on the use of kayaks, useful for people who use it for the first time, we will leave from the beach of Baracconi, known for its transparent and crystalline waters. From here, we will move towards the coastal area and all the coves adjacent to Cala Moresca, where, if we are lucky, we will be able to admire the numerous wild boars that love to swim on the shore in the heat of summer. In Cala Moresca we will enjoy a break with a nice swim and surface snorkeling among the magnificent seabeds that characterize it, rich in fish and starfish. Later, we will orient our route towards the island of Figarolo. In this paradise island, we will have the opportunity to enjoy a typical Sardinian aperitif, together with the different varieties of fish and birds that characterize it, but above all the dolphins. In fact, in front of the island, there is a fish farm where a colony of dolphins usually live: navigating around these areas, the probability of sighting dolphins in search of food is very high. After seeing the dolphins, we will return to the starting point.

Kayaked and saw dolphins. Great!

Had a fantastic time. Weather was nice, the locations were all great and it wasn’t too strenuous. Was able to buy some water shoes and use basic snorkel gear. Life jackets provided but not mandatory. Would recommend rash vest or maybe a top you don’t mind getting wet to avoid sun burn. Got to see some dolphins near the fish farms which was great too. The aperitivo was ok, either a plastic cup of beer or pineapple juice? And some cheeses/meats/olives on a share board. Overall great time with good communication before and during the experience. If you’re parking on the beach, there’s a button on the meter to change the language which should make it easier to understand (white button with flags on it).

Wonderful experience kayaking and watching dolphins

Awesome time paddling the kayak with my wife, snorkeling and, yes, we were fortunate to watch dolphins close by for an extended period of time. Our guides Eduardo and Pepe were amazing. We did have rain during our time, which required a momentary return to the departure site, but the skies cleared and we continued on! Great!

It was a fantastic experience ! The guide gave us all the explanations about the marine life and show us while snorkeling ! A fun way to discover all the beautiful spot. The team was really friendly !

We booked the sunrise tour, highly recommend it as the sea and wind are calmer and it's more likely that the dolphins are out! It was a beautiful experience, the canoe are well equipped and the tour is magical. My son had a little accident on the rocky beach (make sure you bring appropriate footwear - very helpfully you can buy it from them for only 12 euros), and the staff was very helpful and attentive. Will definitely come back next year.

Perfect holiday trip. Saw so many dolphins, did some great snorkelling, saw an amazing sunset and beers and nibbles to top it off. What more could you ask for! Just make sure you pay for the parking as it’s pay and display right next to the kayak place.
