As you board the luxury passenger van, you will be instantly treated like a celebrity. Leather seats and a comfortable ride await you. As we pick up other guests around the city, you will be given a mini-tour of the city or you may watch a film about other plantations to prepare you for your tour. Whitney Plantation (Pass By)

Whitney tells the story of the enslaved people who lived and worked there. It also includes the history of the early owners, the Haydel family.
Laura Plantation: Louisiana's Creole Heritage Site (Pass By)

Laura is a French Creole plantation that was run by four generations of French Creole women.
St. Joseph Plantation (Pass By)

St. Joseph Plantation was a wedding gift from her father Valcour, who was one of the wealthiest men of his time.
Oak Alley Plantation

Here you will spend about 3 hours on the plantation grounds exploring a national historic landmark. This historic site is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history its inhabitants left behind. With an emphasis on its time as a working sugarcane plantation, visitors are invited to experience the exhibits, walk under the iconic Allee of Oak Trees, and tour the big house. You will have the opportunity to have lunch at the restaurant or deli. You can spend a few moments in the gift shop, at the bar, or just sit under the many oak trees on the plantation.

Lake Pontchartrain (Pass By)

To close out the day, you will take a 75-minute ride back to the city on the Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge overlooking Lake Pontchartrain before heading back to your hotel.

Kin was amazing. He knows so much about the area and is very professional. He also runs his own business so it feels good to support him. After the tragedy in New Orleans on New Year’s Eve, he followed up with us to make sure we were OK because we’d taken his tour just a few days prior to New Year’s Eve. Just a really awesome guy and you’ll enjoy the day.

We took a small group tour with Kindrell. It was the best decision we made. We were picked up and dropped of to the place we stayed. Dew to the flood warning the night before our tour had to be modified and Kindrell did absolutely everything to make sure that it will not affect our experience and we will not wait in any part of our day with our scheduled activities . We had a swamp tour and Oak Alley plantation visit. In our opinion you should definitely do both. Sitting on the boat with captain Bruce was relaxing , fun and educational at the same time. Holding a baby alligator was a cherry on the top. We saw many creatures while sailing( raccoons, wild boars, turtles and , of coarse, plenty of alligators). When we get to the plantation, we had tour inside of the mention and had good amount of time to walk down the alley of the famous trees , to sit and enjoy pease and serenity . Then we even had time to listen to the docent outside to tell us about hard life of the slaves on the plantations back in the days.He was so passionate and engaging. Then Kindrell picked us up and while driving back to the city he was telling us about neighboring plantations we were passing by and recommended to watch a listen self -guided tour of Witney plantation. Overall, amazing day, filled with grate memories, pictures , learning . Recommend! Recommend!
