Step aboard a historic sailing ship and cruise around New York Harbor, taking in magnificent views of this grand city by day. You will enjoy breathtaking views of New York City and see the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Manhattan skyline and other treasures of the harbor from the decks of New York's only tall ship.

Meeting points

The Clipper City is at the End of Pier 17 at The Seaport - just below the Brooklyn Bridge on the East side of Manhattan. Check-In is in front of the Fulton Restaurant, and Pearl Alley. Please allow extra time to locate the boat if you are not familiar with the area. 40.705130 -74.001120

This was so much fun!

The crew was fantastic, very personable and friendly. They answered questions for us curious people. They were very professional. They ask for volunteers to hoist the sails. It is more work than you think it is, but so much fun!

The day started out rainy and our captain delayed the trip for about 20 minutes as clearer skies were coming. We still had some rain but this trip is a must-do if you like boats and the Statue of Liberty! I even got to help raise the sails! The bartender makes a mean spiked hot cocoa to give us some extra warmth and after sailing for a bit, we got to see the Statue of Liberty from up close. Sailing back showed us beautiful sights of the skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge and the harbor. Loved this!!
