Overview

Enjoy delightful food from five restaurants while strolling the historic streets of Newport, Rhode Island! Our tour begins in front of the Wave sculpture on the corner of America's Cup Ave. and Memorial Blvd..  We will talk about Newport's infamous pirates, Revolutionary War armies, the Gilded Age of mansions and industrialists, the Irish American heritage up to and including the condominium boom. Our tour will last 2.5 hours and will cover approximately 1.75 miles.  Bring your appetites, you will not be disappointed!

    Our meeting place which is located in front of the Wave Sculpture, at the corner of America's Cup Blvd and Memorial Blvd.in the heart of Newport. Following your check in, we give a brief history of the 41 North and the Armory, then continue on to our "Off the Beaten Path" tour. If you have been to Newport many times or if this is your first time, you will experience many new facts and wonderful restaurants along the way.

Go ahead and book it!! The Newport Foodies Stroll exceeded our expectations! Sue was a wonderful guide and host of our tour. She told great stories and shared interesting tidbits of the Newport area in a relaxed and fun manner. And the food….OUTSTANDING! She picked a perfect mix of restaurants which showcased the great food scene of Newport! Thank you for an awesome way to explore the city! Your new friends from Western New York, Hans and Kari.
