Overview

This tour is one of a kind - it is not a ghost tour. It takes you on a true crimes journey of Newcastle and explores some of the gruesome dark times in the city's history (all brought to life by your local expert). Your tour also takes you past some of the best-known places in the city but diverts to take you through some of the most hidden streets full of wonderful stories to tell!

Very informative walking tour

We had an amazing time on this walking tour. Josh was an excellent tour guide, spoke clearly, and answered all our questions about Newcastle. It was a very informative walking tour, not only about true crime but about the history of Newcastle. I fully recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning more about the vast history of Newcastle.

This was a great tour. I would say it is more “Horrible Histories” than true crime. However, Josh was an excellent guide. Very informative and enthusiastic.

Amazing tour, our guide Josh was really knowledgeable and put a funny spin on the stories while giving us so much information about the seedy underbelly of Newcastle. Josh took the time to show us a couple of extra significant spots which was definitely a bonus! Would definitely recommend!

My partner and I really enjoyed being tourists in our own city. Josh, our guide, was incredibly punny which I LOVE so, thank you Josh! He was very knowledgeable and super enthusiastic. We did the tour on Friday and by writing this 2 days later I can confidently say I have told everyone I know about this tour and how good it is. Being local I did know some of the stories but it was so great hearing someone else talk about them! Time absolutely flew over and I was smiling the whole time. What I will say about the tour is that, wear comfortable shoes and if your knees aren't great take your time going down on the stairs towards the end - there's a LOT of them.
