Overview

The legendary creatures of Danish folklore are more than just the Little Mermaid immortalised by H. C. Andersen. The Danish bestiary also includes such monsters as man-eating trolls, dragons who hoard treasures and fight against bulls, the heraldic wild men depicted on the royal coat of arms and the strange creature known as the ”Sea Bishop”. Even the centre of Copenhagen that draws the most tourists and traffic is haunted by mythical beasts who are seen in statues, reliefs and artwork on buildings. Yet many of these monsters remain unknown to most visitors. You can, however, now fill this gap in your folkloric knowledge with this self-guided GPS audio tour. Fun way to see some sites in Copenhagen

I loved and can not say enough great things about this tour. It was full of off beat statues, locations and information. It was unlike any other self guided or group tour I took on my trip. If you like sites that are not usually visited this tour is for you.

entertaining and informative experience!!

the narrator was very clear with the directions and had a kind intonation. the recording also gave us as much time to look at the places as we wanted, continuing the guide only after we started moving again, which provided a chill experience! the stories shared were very interesting and fun to learn about! we had a great time walking around the streets of copenhagen, discovering the many hidden gems with the guide!!

If you like folklore this tour is an absolute must!

It takes you around the city of Copenhagen and ,even though we already spend two days prior in the city centre, with this tour you see the sculptures and buildings through a whole different view. We loved that we good take our own pace since it's not a physical guide and group dynamic but a audiotape and a map. So we could take our time to discuss what the audio guide told us without feeling the pressure of a group waiting. It worked surprisingly well (we never did an audio tour before so we were a bit sceptic).
