Itinerary

South Maui Gardens

Experience the magic of South Maui Gardens' Hula Show, as you journey through Polynesia on Wednesdays and Sundays from 5 pm to 7 pm. Beginning at 5 pm, enjoy 30-45 minutes of traditional Hawaiian music during our pre-show. The pre-show includes live traditional Hawaiian music accompanied by a solo dancer. After a short intermission come journey with us through the Pacific. Enjoy classic Hawaiian favorites through mele, oli, and traditional hula as we honor our cultural stories. We’ll then take you to New Zealand, introducing you to the captivating songs and dances of our brothers and sisters of Aotearoa. On to Tahiti, the vigorous lively energy of our relatives in the south will enchant you with dances and songs of old and new. The final stop on this journey brings us to Samoa, where we celebrate the element of fire and the dazzling skills of fire knife dancing. We’ll then end the evening with 10-15 minutes of traditional Hawaiian music. Seating is limited, so secure your spot now!

Excellent show from start to finish! Excellent showcase of the culture in true form! Highly recommend doing this while you are in Maui. The South Maui Gardens where the show is located is a great ambience to the event. Many food places to enjoy also!

Amazing dancers and more intimate show

Amazing show! I like this setting for a Hula show…much more intimate and less crowded. They served what looked to be an amazing meal or meals - but my group opted for the food trucks which were a short walk away. The dancers and host were amazing. I learned a lot about Hawaiian culture. The fire dancers were also fantastic. Better price than many of the Luau’s if you’re looking for Hula on a more local level.

Unique Luau

Delightful Luau. Not a big production. Small group of talented people, sharing Polynesian culture. We have been to many a Luau, including big production where shuffled through buffet lines like cattle and ‘family style’. Have enjoyed shows at all types but this was unique. Recommend checking it out. Get there early to get food trucks?

South Maui Garden Hula Show is a Wonderful Experience!

This is a very economical way to enjoy a luau show in Maui! The performances were high energy and executed well. The grass viewing area is ideal for families to enjoy Hawaiian/ Polynesian song and dance, because children can get up and dance and get their own energy out without being distracting to other audience members or the performers. Plus the food options from the catering associated with the show directly, and the food trucks available adjacent the gardens have great choice and high quality/ delicious selections! The Gelato from the gyro truck was amazing!

Very fun! Excellent dancing. Laidback and family friendly. Nice to have food truck option for the kiddo. Bring a lawn chair. Chose this over resort luau, happy with the choice.
