Itinerary

16:00: Pick you up at hotel to Beo Harbor, you get on the local boat to get to the floating village On the way from the harbour to the floating house, you will have a chance to visit a beautiful spot for sunset on the way and enjoy the fresh-air of the bay in the sunset period 18:00 - 18:30: Arrive at the floating house. Relax here Dinner will be served with a lot of traditional Vietnamese dishes. You will have dinner with the fisherman and experience the taste of culture. After dinner, you rest for a while, then follow the guide to kayak at night, experiencing one of the most magical beauty of nature. The guide will take you to spots where have a thick density of plankton On the kayak, every time you paddle, you will see it sparkle along, lighting up the magical blue light. It will probably be the most magical moment you’ve seen in your life. 20:30 - 20:45: Back to the floating house, get on the boat to get back to Beo Harbour 21:00 - 21:15: Arrive by the harbour, get in a car to get back to the hotel. Finish the tour

Magical Experience in the Water and under the Stars

It was a excellent experience. Swimming in the water with the glowing plankton around you and the stars in the sky was just magical. The guide Kevin was so full of energy and very nice.

We did not have the best weather and therefore did not get a sunset but the kayak experience with the bioluminecent plankton was very cool! I have no comparison as this was my first time seeing this phenomena but we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, it seemed hard to photograph or film with our limited equipment. Our guide, Ryan was friendly and knowledgable and made sure we enjoyed our experience. Also we had a great dinner (and they were able to provide some additional gluten free options).

Such a great experience! Seeing the bioluminescent water spark kayaking and swimming was one of the highlights of the trip

Loved Cat Ba Kayaking Adventure Tour

Ryan was an excellent guide and made us feel at home in Cat Ba. The tour was very well organized with a great nighttime kayak adventure, followed by a lovely family style dinner that encouraged getting you to know your fellow travelers. Loved the camaraderie that this tour created! Although Cat Ba was recently hit by typhoon Yagi, it had no impact on our experience, and those seeking a beautiful escape into one of the most beautiful parts of the bay should consider joining.

Magical experience

Lovely boat ride to see the floating village and Luu and Ryan had lots of information about the village. Then we stopped for a swim in the warm sheltered water before having dinner, and finally we kayaked a short way to see the magical plankton, a must-do if you haven't seen bioluminescence before!
