Whiskies you wouldn't be able to try otherwise, in an underground location unlike anything you've ever seen! 5 drams of top shelf whisky, the kind you'd pine over in the shop but never consider buying for yourself, and now is your opportunity to try it.

Meeting points

Just off the Royal Mile, behind St Giles Cathedral on Parliament Square, you will find the CodE Pod Hostel just past the statue of James Braidwood the fireman. The meeting point is inside the hostel reception area, we'll head underground from there.

Come join us for an evening of whisky and stories, underground the historic heart of the Old Town of Edinburgh. We'll tell you how the process starts, how the industry grew, and all about some of the wacky characters and intriguing stories that helped to make the Scottish whisky industry the finest in the world. Along the way, we'll sample whiskies from each of the major whisky producing regions in Scotland, whilst exploring a newly uncovered underground area of Edinburgh. This Luxury Whisky Tasting price includes 5 whiskies from 5 different distilleries, as one of our talented guides leads you on a spirited adventure through our very unique venue.

Excellent tour guide. He was knowledgable and personable. The venue was very cool and it was in a Close (converted passage way or alley). The whisky (not whiskey) was amazing. We tasted 5 different Scottish whisky’s and I will certainly will taste and drink more.
