Overview

This is one of the best Semi-Private Cruises from Kefalonia to Ithaca departing from Agia Efimia port, on a modern sailing yacht, skippered by an experienced captain who will share some of the most beautiful places in Ithaca. With a full day ahead, we meet at 8:50 am outside of the yacht to spend a gorgeous full day sailing aboard a sleek and comfortable sailing boat. Your day starts with a long sail toward the east of Ithaca, having a first swim stop at ''the paradise on earth'', called Gidaki Beach, where you can snorkel in its crystalline blue-green waters, and have a snack/ drink at the end. Gidaki is considered by many people the best beach in Ithaca, while it is often ranked among the best beaches in Greece! The turquoise blue waters and the natural landscape with the scenic, lush vegetation impress every visitor. It's a pebbled beach with larger pebbles on the western side and smaller ones on the east. The bay is open and ideal for swimming from one side to the other.

As soon as we leave another highlight stop awaits, Skinos Bay Beach, where we prepare our lunch which is served on board along with soft drinks, beers, and local wine. Skinos is the bay to the east of Ithaca, with the homonymous beach. It is surrounded by pine trees and the scenery is breathtaking.

After lunch, we will set course towards to the south coast of Ithaca and Talaros Beach (Pera Pigadia Bay) is our last selected spot for the day. The waters of Pigadia's Bay are calm, warm, and smooth, ideal for swimming. Once we have taken our fill of this little gem of Ithaca, we sail back to Agia Efimia arriving at the port around after 17:00.

We really enjoyed our day checking out Ithaca! We love that it was semi private, only a few other couples. Lots of places to snorkel, swim and the food on board was amazing! The crew was so nice and inviting.

A fantastic way to celebrate our wedding anniversary

From the moment I contacted Vangelis yesterday, until the moment that we disembarked this evening we were made to feel welcomed and looked after so well! We were out for about 6 hours and were treated to 3 stops, where we were able to swim, snorkel and also make use of the Paddle Boards that were onboard. While at stop 2 we were also provided with a lovely lunch from the crew which left me feeling very full! Totally can’t fault anything! And I know if I am ever back in Kefalonia I will be booking the 9 hour trip! Thanks for making our wedding anniversary so special today!

Fantastic day sailing the Ionian Sea

Thoroughly recommend this luxury day out sailing the Ionian Sea. Beautiful yacht with a super friendly skipper and first mate who told us about the places we visited and who made wonderful canapés and lunch and supplied us with a constant flow of wine or beer or soft drinks. The stop-offs were stunning - three incredible coves only accessed by the sea, so secluded and quiet. We had around 45 minutes at two places to swim, snorkel, paddle board or just swim ashore and sunbath, around an hour or more at our lunch stop, where we swam first then had lunch aboard the yacht. Super fun and utterly relaxing.

Amazing day to very special coves and the clearest water ever seen. Lovely friendly captain, so relaxing and delicious food. The boat is very well equipped and comfy to ride on all day. Well worth the price.
